Student Loan Collection Rep.

Responsible for collecting on past due education loans via the use of auto dialer/manual phone contact. You will negotiate full payment or payment arrangements that are suitable for both the borrower and the company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Collection Functions

• Skip-tracing borrowers to locate current residence and employment information
• Handling incoming and outgoing calls
• Assist borrowers to qualify for rehabilitation or consolidation of the loan. Negotiating balance in full payments, payment arrangements or legal referrals
• Preparing consolidation paperwork
• Reviewing accounts and schedule contact dates for follow-up calls
• Meeting or exceeding all daily, weekly and monthly production goals
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, to include 2 evening shifts (up to 9PM).
